We are excited to be opening our doors over two days this Easter for our Annual Open House!
On Sunday 31st March we will be hosting our Amateur Jousting and Horse Archery Tournaments. This is for our regular trainee Knights and Archers to put their skills to the test and compete against each other to see who will take home the 1st Place Trophy! This day is free entry and is just to watch the amateur competitions. There will be a coffee van onsite all day offering hot and cold drinks and snacks!
The Jousting Tournament starts at 10am and the Horse Archery Tournament will start at 1.30pm
On Monday 1st April we then host our Open House Spectacular!
12:00pm - Gates open - Have A Go Activities: Trick Riding vaulting barrel, plus wooden horses set up for Side Saddle & Horse Archery. Activities will run all day.
1.00pm - Side Saddle - Learning side saddle and the different directions it can take you
1.30pm - Training Horses for Stunt Work - how a horse starts its journey at KOME
2.00pm - Trick Riding - How to get started and training through the levels
2.30pm - Side Saddle display from instructor Tanya Guest
3.00pm - Liberty & Bridleless Riding Demonstration
3.30pm - Trick Riding Display from the KOME team
4:00pm - Q&A Session with the professionals
4.15pm - End of Event!
Some chairs are available but please bring a camping chair if you have one! Please note NO DOGS ALLOWED.
